Hi Nest!
I want to explain to you on English and UOI.
English Time!
In English, my group mates and I were researching about 'How do volcanoes erupt?'. We look for sources. Like internet and articles. We write on the Draft paper. After finish writing, Ms.Yolanda gave feedback on my group's work. After giving the feedback, Ms.Yolanda tell us to revise our work.
On Wednesday, we have field trip to MataKucing. It is very tiring that we always climb hill. I learnt that each animals eat different kinds of food. I also saw a chimpanzee there. In there have a guide to explain the forest.
Know we refer to UOI.
UOI Time!
On Saturday, we went to have a 'Tree Planting Activity' because we have learnt about our new unit that is 'Rainforest".
06/05-2008
UOI Task:
-Locating rainforest in the world.
-Defining tropical rainforests.
-I learnt about Tropical Rainforest. I also learn something because the explanation is clear.
-I learn something new because the definition is clear. And it is organize.
-I'm respecting and appreciated what the others have done.
-I also found something difficult on other work.

Journal Time!!!!

Today I want to show you my today journal,on 15, 16 and 18 April 2008.
Firstly, I want to show you my journal on 15 April 2008.
ORAL EXPLANATION
If I were in that film, I would like to be Rosemary. because she is a Confidence, Enthusiasm and Respectful person. I wish I could be as pretty as she is. And 1 thing I want you to know about Rosemary is....she is soooooo Active and smart person.
Secondly, i want to show you my journal on 16 April 2008.
MATH TIME!
In Math subject, I've an Assessment about Perimeter and Area. I learnt a figure. A figure is a shape. And I just learnt 2 kinds of figure, that is sguare and rectangle. I also learnt about the grid on Areas. i also learnt about many kinds of a box on the grid. But in my assessment, I got normal score.
Thirdly, I want to show you my journal on 18 April 2008.
JOURNAL TIME!
Yesterday, in UOI, I continued doing my individual video. I also put some images and information to explain my video. While I'm doing my video, Mr. Perico video some of my class mate to video about the Topic.
Yesterday, in English, we play a game about ' Who Wants To Be A Millioner'.
Today;
In English, I wrote about writing to explain about shorelines. i also research on the ' Changing Shorelines' booklet. On the first time, I thought that it should be about water. So when Mr. Jay explain, then I know it that i should explain about shorelines. Then, I also exchange my work with my buddies. After I read it, i gave a feedback on my buddies work.
Finally, I want to show you my today journal.
English;
I continued my explanation about 'Shorelines'. I edit my work by checking the grammar and to summarize it. I also draw some illustration to understand my reader. Explanation is something that we have to explain. E.g. If we want to know about clone, and if we done reading it, and if we understand it, then if we want to share the information about clone to other reader, we just tell it by explain it.
Math;
In Math, we learnt about symmetry. Symmetry has to means. One is a symmetrical objects, and the other is non-symmetrical objects.
UOI;
I learnt about 'Natural Disaster happen in the environment.
I wish I could eat now. BYE!!!

My Journal
Hi Nest!,
Today, in UOI, we have an Assessment about 'Changes'. We have to discuss with our group about the changes . Mr.Perico gave my group is 'Changes on Climate and Atmosphere. In my group, we write 5 sample of changes on climate and atmosphere. After we done doing it, we present about our own 'Changes'. I also learn something about other group that have present it.
Mr.Perico also show to us a powerpoint that tells about 'Physical and Chemical Changes'. We also learn about other thing that change.

Monday Journal
Hi Nest!,
Today, in English, we think an issue that we think it is good for it. And then, we discuss with our class about an issue.
ex. Selling Junk food at school
that is one issue. Then, we think about the stand of an issue, it is For or Againts the issue. And when its nearly time, Mr.Perico said that we have to write/choose the issue and the stand. I write/choose TV. So its 'Watching Television During School Day' and my stand is 'Againts'. So Mr.Perico gave us a piece of paper, and wrote it in that paper. He said wrote like this;

In Math, we do Top Ten, and I got 4/12. Today Top Ten's problem is the same like before. Because it is revision. When I solve, I think that this problem is easy because its already gave it before. Oops! I say that word (easy), Sorry Nest!
In UOI, we went to laboritarium for knowing about 'Chemical changes' and ' Physical changes' and when there, Mr. Perico told us to pour the sugar into the water. And when we mix, the colored become change so the changes is both ( Chemical and Physical changes). And the smells to. The temperature also changes from cold become warm. The form also. Water become sweet water. When we came back to class, we Mr.Perico told us to give the changes ( Chemical, Physical). Then we explain.
OK! its time for me to read a book. Bye!Bye Nest!

Tuesday Journal
Hi Nest!!!!,
Today, in English, we encode our persuasive essay on 'Wearing School Uniform'. First, we encode our essay on Microsoft Word, then we copy our essay on MS-Publisher. When I went to MS-Publisher, I choose the newsletter for convincing other. Same like on 'Yes and No to Homework'. After we encode, finish or not finish, should save in the 'Persuasive Essay' then we open 'school uniform'. Then we save our file.
In UOI, we have a new topic which is 'Changes'. And we have a ' Pre-Unit assessment' about the;
In Math, Mr.Perico told to us that the calculator use for checking not solving. Anyway yesterday he told to us to bring a scientific calculator. Today we solve a problem that use the multiple operation and we also learn about using a brackets. Ex. ( 4.2 + 3.2) - (6.4 x .2). Mr.Perico also told us to solve in your group and later, you will check with your group. When I check with my group, we have a different answer. Some are 1.5, and some are 10.3. But think, that 47.3 is right. But when Mr.Perico explain to us, we understand it.

Sunday Journal
Hi Nest!!!!,
When morning, it was my lucky day, because, I can play 'Hot-Scotch' at my house. But, when afternoon, it wasn't my lucky day, because, I can't do anything. Except for sitting down and do nothing.
I also want to say that when I do my Math homework, I am so stuck! in there, because, I didn't remember it. SORRY!
I just type little, because, I don't know what to type again. BYE!BYE!! NEST!!!!

Wednesday Journal
Hi Nest!!!!,
Today, in English, we continue our work on the essay about 'Wearing School Uniform'. After we finish our essay, we edit with our class buddies. My buddies is Irene, and she is the mentor of me and I am the co-mentor of Irene. We edit our buddies work by editing with the 'Editing Symbols'. After we edit, we gave a feedback to our buddies. So they will know that they should improve on the wrong one. ^_^
And when its recess, my teacher said that who is not don't yet, they should eat in the class and continue writing. But don't spilled any drink.^_^
In Math, we have a Top Ten. And I got low score again. You want to know my score is how many? it's 5/10. Because, I didn't remember it how to do to change fraction into a decimal number.
In B. Indonesia, Nabilla's uncle came to our school to talk about 'Riau Island Province'. We also interview him buy asking a question. He knows about 'Riau Island Province'.
In UOI, we make a mind map showing about 'Changes/Development In KEPRI'.
And we also brainstorming about the changes in economy, government/politics, etc.
Now it's time for me to do my homework and interview my parents about 20 years ago in Batam. BYE NEST!!!!
